Bronze Award
When you are ready to start working on your Bronze Award, be sure to submit the Bronze Award Project Approval form and receive permission to move forward from GSEMA. Your final report must be submitted by September 30 of the year you enter sixth grade.
Silver Award
Silver Award training is required before starting the project process. When you are ready to start working on your Silver Award, be sure to submit the Silver Award Project Approval form and receive permission to move forward from GSEMA. Your final opportunity to submit a proposal is July 15 after you or your oldest team member completes eighth grade, and your final report must be submitted by September 30 of the year you enter ninth grade.
Gold Award
Gold Award training is required before starting the project process. When you are ready to start working on your Gold Award, be sure to submit your proposal through GoGold and receive permission to move forward from GSEMA. Your final opportunity to submit a proposal is September 15 of your last year of high school, and the final report must be approved by September 30 after you graduate. If you want to be recognized at GSEMA's annual Gold Award Celebration in the spring, the final project report must be submitted no later than March 31 of that year.
