It all starts here. Juniors team up with fellow Girl Scouts to explore their community, discover a need or issue they care about, and work together to address it. It’s a chance to create a plan and make an impact on the community they live in.
Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts is committed to supporting all Girl Scouts who are interested in earning their Highest Awards. If there are any accessibility factors, accommodations, or supports that we can provide, please let us know.
You can become a Bronze Award Girl Scout if you:
Are in fourth or fifth grade
Are a registered Girl Scout Junior
Have completed a Junior Journey
How to Earn the Girl Scout Bronze Award
- Learn more through a gsLearn training or online orientation.
- Identify issues that you’re passionate about.
- Build your Girl Scout Junior team of up to nine other Girl Scouts.
- Explore your community and think of how that issue affects your community.
- Choose your Bronze Award project based on your passions and community needs.
- Make a plan and submit your project proposal.
- Put your plan in motion.
- Spread the word and submit your final report before September 30 after completing fifth grade.
- Celebrate!
