On camp opening day, many families will try to register for the same camp session, but not all will secure a spot. If you didn’t get the session your camper wanted, they will automatically be placed on a waitlist. If this should happen, you will receive an email from GSEMA, and you will not be charged the deposit fee.
We know how frustrating this can be. To ease your mind, here are the waitlist protocols:
All camper applications are date and time stamped, so as soon as they are put on the wait list, it keeps them in the order they applied.
After the registration rush and before summer begins, a lot of camper families’ plans change, and spots may open up. We encourage you to stay on the wait list and be patient, if you can.
If a spot becomes available and your camper is able to be moved off the waitlist, we will enroll your camper and automatically charge your credit card $75 per session if before June 3rd. You will then receive a confirmation via email that your camper has been enrolled, and you will have 5 business days to get back to us if you need to cancel enrollment. After 5 business days, you will not be refunded the deposit if you cancel your registration.
If your child is moved off the waitlist after June 3rd, your credit card will be charged the full prices of the program. You will receive confirmation via email, and you will have 5 business days to cancel enrollment to receive a full refund.
If you are registering for multiple children for the same week and some children were enrolled while others put on the waitlist, you can reach out to Customer Care via email to discuss your options.
If you do not want to risk waiting for another camper to cancel their application, please take a look at your camper’s other camp options in our Camp Guide. If you are unsure of the best program fit, please contact us and we will walk you through all the other programs at camp this summer that your camper might enjoy.
