Gold Award

You can become a Gold Award Girl Scout if you:

  • Are in ninth, tenth, eleventh, or twelfth grade
  • Are a registered Girl Scout Senior or Ambassador
  • Have completed the Silver Award, a Senior/Ambassador Leadership Award, or a Senior/Ambassador Journey

Each spring (May/June), Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts hosts a celebration to recognize Girl Scouts who have earned their Gold Award by March 31 of the celebration year. Our celebration for 2025 will be hosted at Camp Cedar Hill on May 18.

Additionally, many Gold Award Girl Scouts also celebrate with their local Girl Scout community. Girls and communities may request a GSEMA representative to present the Gold Award pin and certificates locally to a Gold Award Girl Scout. To request a GSEMA representative, please email customercare@gsema.org at least one month before the event.
