Youth Board Members toggle arrow

Girl Scout youth members ages 14-17 are invited to apply to serve a one-year term on GSEMA's 2026 Board of Directors. Youth board members develop their leadership skills, gain exposure to organizational governance, and provide their perspectives during Board deliberations. Serving on the board requires a commitment of time and responsibility with great benefits such as networking and mentorship. And, it's a great college application/resume builder! National Delegate Youth Member toggle arrow

The GSUSA 2026 Girl Scout Convention will be in Washington, DC, from July 20 to July 25—build the future of Girl Scouts with us! Make your voice heard as a voting youth member of the National Council throughout your three-year term.

Regional Delegate Youth Member toggle arrow

Delegates act as representatives for designated regions within GSEMA and serve as voting council members. This influential role offers a unique opportunity for adults AND youth (aged 14-17) to participate in council governance and build upon their leadership skills—all while helping to foster and improve Girl Scouting at the local level. GSUSA Youth Girl Scout Advisory Board toggle arrow

Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) is seeking ten new members to join the Girl Advisory Board to GSUSA. This board works with the Girl Scout national office on key projects and initiatives aligned to the national strategy and provides critical customer insight and innovative ideas to serve girls in the 21st Century.

Members of the Girl Advisory Board will make recommendations, contribute to key initiatives, and influence decision-making processes at the national office. Girl Scouts gain experience creating change in a national nonprofit organization, receive hands-on training, professional development opportunities and skill development.

Girl Advisory Board members serve for up to two years or until their high school graduation, whichever comes first.

The application process begins in late fall each year. Candidates will be notified by email when the application period opens.
