Along the way, you’ll build your own confidence, strengthen your leadership skills, and connect with a supportive community that shares your passion.
- Volunteer as a troop leader: Guide a group of Girl Scouts by creating a fun, safe space. We’ll help you get started with easy-to-use tools like the Girl Scout Experience Box and ready-made Troop Year Plans so you can focus on fun, growth, and connection.
- Be a supportive adult volunteer: Help girls thrive by assisting with meetings, activities, or special events, no matter your schedule or experience.
- Get involved on your terms. Choose a role that fits your time and interests—from leading a troop to lending a hand behind the scenes.
No previous experience is required to support girls as they build confidence, skills, and lifelong friendships through the Girl Scout experience. Your local Girl Scout Council can help get you started.
New to Girl Scouts? When you sign up for the first time, you will have two options to unlock a world full of adventures, friendships, and discoveries.
Current Membership through September 30, 2026.
Anyone new to Girl Scouts can join now for $70 for girls and
$30 for adults. This is a great option if you want to jump in right
away and enjoy the rest of the current membership year.*
Extended Year Membership through September 30, 2027.
For a limited time, families who are new to Girl Scouts can
join for $126 for girls and $42 for adults. This option lets you start
early this spring and includes the entire next Girl Scout year.

Girl Scout Experience Box
New Daisy (Grades K–1) or Brownie (Grades 2–3) troops can receive complimentary monthly meeting supplies delivered right to their door.
