Summer camp registration is open!

All GSEMA overnight camp programs offer swimming, boating, outdoor cooking, crafts, archery, games, and more! Sailing and other activities vary by camp. Overnight camp is a great opportunity for Girl Scouts to make friends and gain independent living and leadership skills in a fun outdoor atmosphere with caring adult role models. Spend a few days or a few weeks playing outside, sleeping under the stars, learning, growing, and loving the adventure!

Camp Favorite | Brewster, MA

Set along the beautiful Long Pond waterfront, Camp Favorite offers the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and Cape Cod charm. Campers dive into exciting water fun, learning or building skills in sailing, windsurfing, surfing, or kayaking, all with the support of trained staff.

Creative campers can explore the work of local artists and bring their ideas to life through art-focused programs. Plus, every week includes classic camp activities like cookouts, swimming, crafts, games, and campfires that create lasting friendships and memories. Campers can also hop on a bike and explore the scenic Cape Cod Rail Trail, taking in the natural beauty that surrounds them. Join us for our 68th summer of unforgettable adventures by the water!

Typical Day toggle arrow

A typical day at Camp Favorite can be summed up in one word: FUN! Campers work together with help from their counselors to plan a schedule centered around their interests. You may spend half the day focusing on your program specialty and the rest of the day exploring other exciting activities camp offers. An emphasis on building friendships, confidence, and leadership skills is incorporated into every activity. At Camp Favorite, no two days will be the same—but each day will be filled with laughter, exploration, and discovery!

Sleeping Quarters toggle arrow

Campers who stay at Camp Favorite live in platform tents with 2-3 other campers of the same age level who are enrolled in the same program. Each Girl Scout will have a cot with a mattress. A unit is a group of nearby tents that house all of the campers in a program and generally have between 10-20 campers. Counselors sleep in separate tents near the campers. Every unit has flush toilets and electricity. Showers are located in the central shower house. Bug netting and poles are provided. See pictures of Camp Favorite sleeping quarters.

Camp Favorite is an American Camp Association-accredited camp. This means that every five years, a nationally recognized organization ensures that everything we do (from the meals we serve to the programs we plan) is done in a safe way. By selecting an ACA-accredited camp, you can be assured your camper is safe.

Camp Favorite must comply with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (105 CMR 430.000) and is licensed by the town of Brewster, MA.

Packing for camp can be very hard, especially if you are a first-time camper. If you're wondering what you can and cannot bring to camp, view a complete packing list in your camper information packet. We recommend packing in a camp trunk (less than 12" high) or a soft duffle bag that can fit under your bed. Please label EVERYTHING with your full name. Camp Runels | Pelham, NH

Nestled on 300 wooded acres along Little Island Pond, Camp Runels is where campers discover their strengths, spark creativity, and make lifelong friends. Each week features unique camper-choice sessions, giving them the freedom to explore what excites them most. Outdoor adventures fill each day: swimming, boating, hiking, archery, and even hatchet throwing or axe handling in the wood yard. Campers can take on both low- and high-ropes challenge courses, building courage and confidence along the way.

Creative campers will love hands-on art activities like painting, pottery, music, and theatre. Plus, off-site field trips offer new experiences and a chance to explore the best of New Hampshire and beyond. Join us as we celebrate 96 years of unforgettable Girl Scout camp fun!

At the beginning of the session, campers will work with counselors to plan what the group will do while at camp. With every camper's input in the program, no two days will be the same. They will spend part of each day participating in specialty program activities and fill the rest of the time with many different activities. Get creative in arts and crafts, cool off at swimming, or take aim on our archery range. At least once during the session campers will have the chance to cookout with your unit.

Campers who stay at Runels will live in platform tents, yurts, open air cabins, or tentalos holding 4-6 campers. Each Girl Scout will have a cot with a mattress. A bathroom is located near each unit. Hot showers are located in the central shower house. Each unit has a fire pit for cookouts. Counselors stay in quarters with other staff right by the campers' quarters. Our camp is also licensed by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services. The Department of Health and Human Services is the state regulating body for summer camps in New Hampshire, and has separate standards of health and safety with which we comply.

Get ready for an unforgettable summer at Camp Wind in the Pines, where adventure, friendship, and skill–building come together! Campers challenge themselves on indoor and outdoor climbing and ropes courses, explore two beautiful ponds through canoeing, kayaking, and stand–up paddleboarding, and enjoy classic camp traditions like arts and crafts, games, and cozy campfires.
