Learn the basics of orienteering with the help of the New England Orienteering Club! Knowledgeable volunteers will help you develop a basic understanding of a map and compass before leading you on a short orienteering course to let you practice your new skills.
Please note: Girl Scouts will be divided by approximate age groups to allow for age-appropriate instruction for all.
You can bring your own compass or borrow one of ours, though quantities may be limited. Maps will be provided. The event will occur in light rain, and will be cancelled in the case of heavy rain or lightning. Volunteer supervision is required. Patch included.
