Summer Resident Camp
All GSEMA resident camp programs offer swimming, boating, outdoor
cooking, crafts, archery, games, and more! Horseback riding, sailing,
and other activities vary by camp. Resident camp is a great
opportunity for girls to make friends and gain independent living and
leadership skills in a fun outdoor atmosphere with caring adult role
models. Spend a few days or a few weeks playing outside, sleeping
under the stars, learning, growing, and loving the adventure!
As we learned in summer 2021, camp can be run during a pandemic. We are excited for the woods to come alive again during Summer 2022 with laughter, fun, adventure, and friendship! Safety is a cornerstone of Girl Scouting. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking special precautions to keep our campers and staff safe and healthy, including increased cleaning measures, reduced capacities, adjusted program and operational procedures, and detailed training for our summer camp and full-time staff. As our regulations are updated, GSEMA will update all procedures and communicate them with families.
We are monitoring recommendations from the CDC, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, New Hampshire Department of Health, American Camp Association and GSUSA. Camp plans are subject to change based on all of these factors, but our current plan is to operate camp in summer, 2022, based on the schedules described on our website. Any changes to these schedules will be communicated via our website, email, and social media.
Nestled on 300 wooded acres along Little Island Pond, Camp Runels is 92 summers strong! Collaborate with other campers and staff to design your own program featuring skill-building outdoor activities, craft studio projects, and off-camp backpacking adventures.
This lakefront property features a dense pine forest, waterfront, and large playing field. Camp Wabasso offers extended tripping programs where campers can explore New Hampshire and Vermont and try adventure activities like whitewater rafting, mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking. Classic camp activities include swimming, boating, archery, and crafts—including woodworking!
Camp Wind-in-the-Pines (WIP)
