Have you ever looked closely at the buildings around you? Do you believe that architecture comes alive when you focus on the details? Put on your walking shoes and join our architectural tour of discovery at the Framingham State University campus! Architects and lab planners from Ellenzweig will join you and share the variety and nuances of architectural design—how buildings connect with the environment and the people who use them! Together, we will discover what you see and feel about architecture at intervals along the path through sketching, writing, and discussing.
Our campus tour will finish at the Hemenway Science Complex, a collaboration between Ellenzweig and FSU. There, we will view the unique features of the building, including the student collaboration spaces and biology and chemistry teaching labs. We will even have an opportunity to view Science in Action, sharing thoughts and questions with the students, faculty, and leadership about their favorite experiments and the interesting equipment they use!
Drop-off event. Programs begin and end at Camp Cedar Hill and include a daily bus trip. Optional bus transportation to and from Camp Cedar Hill is available.
