Bring your troop (signup is by troop, not individual) to the New England Orienteering Club's annual Fall Orienteering event to learn how to use a map and compass and then practice your new skills during day, in the dark Saturday night, and then compete in the New England Scout Orienteering Championship Sunday morning. $15 (1 day) or $20 (both days) per adult/youth participant includes group instruction (45 minutes), custom patch, full color maps, 5 orienteering courses of different levels to practice on, Night-O, and the Sunday Championship. Pre-registration is required by October 8th but may fill to capacity before then.
Please be sure to review the Safety Activity Checkpoints for this activity, which includes, but is not limited to the presence of a GSEMA approved first aid/CPR certified volunteer.
