Girl Scout Week

Girl Scout Week is a time when we shout our Girl Scout pride from the rooftops! This year it culminates with the celebration of Girl Scouts' 110th Anniversary on March 12! Join in the Girl Scout Week fun by celebrating a different theme each day. Explore themes below for inspiration on how to show your Girl Scout pride and celebrate what Girl Scouts means to you.

March 6: Celebrate Girl Scouts & Girl Scout Sunday

Kick of Girl Scout Week by celebrating all things Girl Scouts! From learning about traditions to discovering new interests, there's a lot to love about Girl Scouts. Celebrate Girl Scouts by earning the Girl Scout Way badge.

This first Sunday of Girl Scout Week is also known as Girl Scout Sunday, and is a special day for our Christian members to be recognized at their places of worship during Girl Scout Week. Learn More >>

March 7: Make New Friends

Invite a new friend to join Girl Scouts, and help make the world a better place together. Do you know all the verses of "Make New Friends"? Invite new friends to join your troop, and teach them a Girl Scout song.

Here are a few resources to share with your friends:

And, welcome families with the bi-lingual Girl Scout Family Connection guide, which is their go-to overview of a year in Girl Scouts.

March 8: Be a Sister to Every Girl Scout

Lift your fellow Girl Scouts by sharing their successes! Post your troop activities to @girlscoutsemass social channels, and we'll share them in our stories all day on #TroopTuesday.

March 10: Take Action Thursday

Juliette Gordon Low said it best, "The work of today is the history of tomorrow, and we are its makers." For more than 100 years, Girl Scouts have been giving back through community service. How are you making history?

March 11: Fresh Air Friday & Girl Scout Jummah

Igniting a lifelong love of the outdoors is at the core of Girl Scouting—and every Girl Scout deserves the opportunity to challenge themselves as they explore their world. Need inspiration? Check out our outdoor opportunities.
