In January 2024, GSEMA CEO Barbara Fortier announced her retirement,
and the GSEMA Board of Directors launched a partnership with BoardWalk
Consulting, a national executive search firm, to identify a
successor.

The next CEO will leverage the experience of the long-tenured Executive Leadership Team, dedicated support staff, inspiring Girl Scouts and volunteers, and philanthropic supporters to champion Girl Scouts in eastern Massachusetts.
