This training is required in order to take a troop camping in any accommodation other than a lodge. This includes but is not limited to: platform tents, yurts, and cabins. During this training, you will learn how to plan a Girl Scout-led camping trip, discuss packing tips with your peers, review safety requirements, sharpen your jack knife skills, and develop an understanding of more advanced outdoor cooking methods.
Prerequisite: Outdoor Basics Online and Outdoor Basics Cooking.
Must complete Outdoor Basics: Cooking before attending Outdoor Basics Camping. They can be completed the same weekend.
