There is nothing better at a camp out than a nice, gooey s’more; but you need to build a fire before you reap the rewards! Girl Scouts can gain confidence by building a successful fire and getting comfortable with fire safety. Through this program, participants will learn the basics of fire building: from how to safely lighting a match, to finding the best wood, and deciding the kind of wood structure is best for building a proper fire. Finish this fun activity by roasting a marshmallow over a fire built entirely by girl ambition and know-how! Volunteer supervision required.
