About the Leading Women Awards

The Leading Women Awards is the premier recognition event celebrating outstanding women in the greater Boston area, and fostering awareness of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience provided by Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts. This year’s ceremony is a luncheon in March of 2027.

Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts has honored more than 250 women with the Leading Women Award since its inception in 1992. The prestigious list of honorees includes those with outstanding careers who have made a significant, positive impact in an impressive array of fields.

A Leading Women Award nominee should be a visionary whose leadership and achievements have made a great impact in their field and/or community, and who inspires inclusion and opportunity for girls and women.

Submit your Leading Women nomination by Friday, July 31, 2026. In the fall, we will select the 2027 class of GSEMA Leading Women—three incredible women who have inspired change in their communities.
